Evening Madrassa

Our Evening Madrassa program provides a nurturing and accessible platform for individuals of all ages to engage with the Quran's teachings. With a focus on Tajweed, understanding, and recitation, our dedicated instructors ensure a well-rounded learning experience. Whether it's for beginners seeking to learn the fundamentals or for those aiming to enhance their existing knowledge, our program fosters a supportive community while instilling a profound appreciation for the Quran and its timeless wisdom.

Sunday School Classes

Our extensive Sunday Program is a vibrant educational platform designed to enrich the lives of our students through a comprehensive exploration of Islamic teachings, values, and traditions.

Tailored for children and teenagers of all backgrounds and levels of knowledge, our curriculum spans diverse topics, including Quranic studies, Islamic history, ethics, and practical application of principles in daily life. Tajweed Fridays

Tajweed Fridays at Pickering Masjid is a special gathering where the community comes together to read and recite the Quran with proper pronunciation and articulation. Led by an experienced teacher, participants are guided through the rules of Tajweed, ensuring that each letter is pronounced correctly and with the proper emphasis. This weekly session provides an opportunity for both beginners and advanced reciters to refine their Quranic recitation skills while deepening their connection to the holy text. It is a time of learning, reflection, and community, fostering a deeper understanding of the Quran’s beauty and message.
